A WOMAN has revealed a packing tip for getting a week’s worth of clothes into hand luggage.
Tiktok user LORAfied shared her tip with her 56,000 followers, where she used a common household item to help organise her packing.
She used some hanging fabric shelves, the kind you might put in a wardrobe, and began sorting her clothes into it.
Her advice was to plan all the outfits you’re going to wear on holiday and then put each day’s clothes onto a separate shelf.
She collapsed the shelves into her carry on suitcase which kept all the clothes folded neatly.
She then explained that when you get to your hotel, you can simply lift the shelves out of your luggage and hang them up, making for very simple unpacking.
In the video, she said: “This closet favourite can fit a week’s worth of clothing all into your carry on.
“Just fold your outfits and place each day on a shelf. Now just collapse it into your luggage.
“When you arrive at your destination, pull it out and hang it up and you’re all done.”
The video has been watched more than 1m times, and some viewers were very impressed with the trick.
One person wrote: “I will definitely be trying this one”, while someone else simply put: “Genius”.
However, others were concerned that the shelves took up too much space and didn’t leave enough room for shoes and toiletries.
Someone put: “That takes up too much space in luggage. That’s a hard no.”
Another wrote: “No room for shoes or toiletries. Better off folding or rolling smaller to fit other items.”
But LORAfied argued the shelves left enough space for other essential items.
She wrote: “The fabric sides have a lot of give, plenty of room for a pair of shoes and cosmetics bag.”
