The Best Fashion Instagrams of the Week: Marc Jacobs, Soo Joo Park, and More

This week, bold summer style came out to play. Models, designers, and celebrities put forward their best fits of the season—whether they were taking a quick dip at the beach or lounging in their backyards. In New York City, Emily Ratajkowski kicked things off with a cool take on “ladies who lunch” style. She struck a pose in front of The Odeon, a restaurant style insiders are known to frequent, wearing a bra top and denim cut-offs. Call her the Daisy Duke of TriBeCa.

Statement eyewear was big this week too. Marc Jacobs accessorized with a pair of butterfly-shaped frames from his spring 2020 collection. Ariana Grande also paired giant bug-eyed shades with a mask, proving you can indeed jazz up a standard face covering. Speaking of masks: Rapper BbyMutha wore a bootleg Chanel style covered in fake “CC” logos too, but her tie-dye sundress and fuzzy headpiece were just as good.

A crew of models also uploaded their looks for the season. Model Imani Randolph headed to Rockaway Beach in a groovy, swirly two-piece by Dos Swim, pairing it with a graphic pair of Loewe sunglasses to match. Fellow model Constance Jablonski caught some rays on a yacht as well, wearing a striped coverup accessorized with a good book. Back in Manhattan, meanwhile, Soo Joo Park played the part of an “Asian Mona Lisa,” striking her best stoic face in a chic mirror selfie complete with a graphic tee and corseted, high-waisted skirt. Certainly not your WFH sweatpants.
