Spring and Summer weddings are always fun to shop for. The colors and prints are refreshing and so pretty, this year there are some beautiful silhouettes too. I always check stores like Nordstrom Rack, T.J.Maxx & Macy’s because you can usually find something great at a discount. Stores like Target and Kohl’s are also great options for fall wedding guest outfits if you are attending a more casual wedding.

Some things to look for when shopping for a fall wedding guest dress:

1. Color – In my opinion, black is classic and can be worn for Spring & Summer events. However, pastels and cool tones like Navy and Gray are also great options.
2. Texture – Pay attention to movement and feel of the dress. Ruffles, tiers, lace and eyelet texture are popular for warmer months
3. Length – Short or midi dresses are ideal for this season, but long can be done too. Pick a length based on your comfort level and location of the event.
