Revlon Colorstay Skin Awaken 5-in-1 Concealer

Texture: Formula is light and easy to blend. It doesn’t dry too fast, so you can get a seamless transition easily and the applicator also helps a to achieve an even and natural application.
Staying power: This lasts well on my dry skin. The day of the test I checked a few times at the end of the day and most of it was still on. Usually I’m not bothered with how my makeup looks during the day, so I wasn’t paying attention on one of many days I wore it later.
Packaging: This has a sponge applicator that Revlon say is antibacterial and I like it because it reminds me somewhat of Maybelline the Eraser except this is smaller. It’s not a soft sponge, but it’s like most such concealer I’ve tried, for example from Trend it Up and L.O.V. It can’t be used for blending as well as Maybelline’s the Eraser, but I like that it’s a squeeze tube instead of a wind up mechanism.

While I’m not a fan of the matte, high-coverage original Colorstay formula, this is much more suited for my skin and preferences. It’s overall quite similar to the Candid concealer, but thanks to the applicator and a slightly more pigmented formula, I can get more coverage with a thinner layer. Still I love the ingredients list of Candid more and that’s what sways me to picking that one more than this one, though they both look about the same on my skin and if you’re picking between the two, get the one that’s currently cheaper or the one whose applicator appeals more to you.
Have a great day!
