After leaving Nike in 2020, Fear of God founder Jerry Lorenzo made the switch to adidas. Just months after leaving Nike, Jerry had already inked a deal with the three stripes to be the creative and business strategy director of adidas basketball.
While adidas and Lorenzo have made no official announcement regarding the latest adidas basketball capsule collection, Jerry’s influence can clearly be spotted on the designs. The collection of tracksuits, hoodies, sweatpants, and more look somewhat similar to designs from Jerry’s Fear of God brand. Simple sleek branding, neutral tones, and thick material are all signature Jerry design choices.
