First look inside Cheshire hotel’s new luxury ‘Instagram worthy’ spa

A new luxury spa has opened at one of Cheshire’s most up-market hotels. Opening on the 14th April, the spa is located in the grounds of the Manor House Hotel, Alsager.

Marketed as a new ‘destination’ in Cheshire, the spa features a glass ceiling covering a 15-metre serenity swimming pool, complete with ‘Instagram worthy’ hanging day-bed. Across the pool’s boardwalk can be found a Finnish-style sauna and a steam room, reports StokeonTrent Live

The spa takes advantage of the hotel’s rural location, offering outdoor experiences, treatments and activities, including guided meditation. The new courtyard offers a unique ‘Salt Shed experience’ – which includes a Himalayan Salt wall, lavender cauldron, and ergonomic seating where guests can relax in 40 degree heat.

Inside the 17th century farmhouse hotel, three new treatment rooms have been added, two for double treatments and one for single treatments. British spa brand Tribe517 has been selected by the hotel to provide a range of face and body treatments, including indulgent and therapeutic massages and refining facials using ‘hand blended natural ingredients’.

With some parts still under construction, the new facility will have a signature spa experience called the ‘English Spa Garden’. Due for completion in Autumn, it will offer users views of the Cheshire countryside.

Guests can enjoy a full or half-day away, with the option to extend their experience with an overnight spa break. The independent family-owned hotel, which is based in a 17th century farmhouse, is located on the southern outskirts of Alsager, off Audley Road.

Aside from the spa, guests can enjoy the AA Rosette-winning restaurant The Stables Bar & Grill at the 52-room hotel. Prices for the spa start at £95 per-person.
