Inanna Sarkis and Matthew Noszka’s Work from Home Look is All About Baby
As life has slowed down significantly, families have gained a moment to reflect and appreciate each other. For Inanna Sarkis and Matthew Noszka, the moment has been especially meaningful. As the couple is currently expecting their first child together, they’ve been at home prepping for their new arrival and enjoying a rare break in their schedules. “It has been such a blessing,” shared Sarkis from Los Angeles. “You don’t realize how little you actually need to be happy until you take a step back from the craziness and just be in the moment with each other.”
Sarkis is a multi-tasking member of generation hustle. She’s a lead on the Netflix comedy, Brews Brothers as well as the founder of streetwear brand, Visus. She also happens to be one of the biggest names online, with millions of followers across YouTube and Instagram who tune into her content. “Inanna is the hardest working person I’ve ever met,” says Noszka. “She has so many amazing qualities but her dedication and drive to what lights her fire is what I admire most.” A top male model, Noszka is a regular face in ads for Hugo Boss and Calvin Klein in addition to acting on shows like Lee Daniel’s music drama, Star. They were introduced by their agent at the premiere of the Robert Pattinson crime drama, Good Time—Sarkis was immediately impressed by Noszka’s nature. “I fell in love with his generosity and kindness toward every person he sees, including strangers,” she says. “Every person he meets he makes them feel special, and I admire that so much.”
Both 27, the pair admit to initial feelings of worry about being young parents. “It was a roller coaster of emotions,” says Sarkis. “Excitement mixed with anxiety and fear of whether we would be ready to be parents or not. After a lot of tears and deep conversations, we realized how perfect of a time it really was to start a family.” The coronavirus crisis caused a few setbacks of its own due to the restrictions on travel and within hospitals. “Not being able to fly my family here to tell them in person and have them experience this with me was one of the hardest things I’ve ever dealt with,” says Sarkis. “Matthew wasn’t allowed into some important doctor visits and it broke our hearts. It’s been a crazy past few months, but we’ve managed to stay positive and find light in every situation. I hope this ends soon so not only my family, but every family can reunite again.” In the interim Sarkis has decided to use her platform for good, teaming up with the International Medical Corp to provide free masks with all Visus purchases.
While quarantining together, the couple has found ways to keep their style intact. As they were never big on fussy clothes, the work-from-home wardrobe suits them just fine. “I love keeping it casual,” says Noszka. “Comfy joggers and a loose vintage t-shirt is my go to.” The sentiment is shared by Sarkis who cites 90s era Winona Ryder and Angelina Jolie as her sources of inspiration. “They were just so effortless and cool. Rihanna’s attitude and innovative style with fashion has always been a motivation to me as well,” she says, noting that she wouldn’t mind a little extra glamour. “Track pants and loungewear have always been staples but I definitely miss wearing a cute heel and feeling sexy in a little dress.” Fashion aside, the pair’s biggest concern centers on all the joy that’s yet to come. “I’m looking forward to teaching my little one all the things I’ve learned over the years,” says Sarkis. “I can’t wait to see them take their first steps, or say their first words. I’m so excited to be that annoying mom that embarrasses their kid because she wants to capture every moment!”
